Description Casa Noceto 1st floor  
Our flat is located in a historic house of three flats in the old centre of Locarno-Solduno, in a quiet residential area with no traffic noise. You sleep with the windows open, the nearby wooded hillside towards the mountains brings a refreshing breeze down at night and you wake up to the song of birds. At the same time, it is centrally located just behind the square in Solduno. Within a radius of 100-300m there are bus stops and the railway-station for the Centovalli and Domodossola, shops, a pharmacy, bank and post office, the Migros and Coop markets, several bars and restaurants, a playground and the embankment of the Maggia river, which you can easily follow to its mouth or towards the Maggia Valley. The town centre of Locarno and Ascona, the various supermarkets in Losone, the modern Locarno bathing centre and the Lido di Ascona can be reached in a few minutes by car or bus.
The flat has a large terrace shaded by an American grape pergola which can be reached directly from the hall. The terrace can be closed on both sides with a gate and secured for small children. Inside it consists of a hallway-cloakroom, living room with dining and sitting area, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. One room with a large double bed, the other with a fixed and a pull-out bed. It is furnished in an ecological manner, giving furniture and objects a second life without exploiting new resources. In winter, it is inhabited by the owners who leave appliances, products and utensils to make the stay comfortable and pleasant.
This flat is particularly suitable for those seeking peace and quiet, but in a central area, close to public transport, with the possibility of getting around on foot, by bicycle or car in all directions (parking in front of the house).
