In the middle of nature, three kilometers from the village of Montferrer, Al Paré is an old farmhouse accessible by 400m of private road. Located at 700m altitude, facing south, it benefits from an excellent sunshine and a superb view on the valley of the Tech and the mountains, up to Spain.

This ancient and vast sheepfold, adjoined to a stable, surmounted by a barn and a dwelling (evoked from the XVIth century), has been transformed into a comfortable dwelling with a careful decoration. The thick mountain stone walls and the impressive circular pillars that support the single-pitch roof are reminiscent of its origins.

The large living room of 70 m2 (lounge, libraries, dining room) and the kitchen of 20m2, facing south, open onto large terraces with a sheltered dining area. A small, more intimate living room allows, if desired, to enjoy the television more quietly.

On this level, 2 bedrooms: the first one, particularly adapted to children and teenagers with its 90cm trundle beds, opens onto the large arrival terrace; nearby, a shower room with shower and toilet. The second bedroom with shower room is equipped with a double bed (140); it opens onto the south terrace.

On the back side : a storeroom, an equipped laundry room and toilets.

On the first floor, a 12 meters long mezzanine serves 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and toilets. With the exception of a second small bedroom with trundle beds, the three double bedrooms are located at ground level at the back of the house and have large individualized terraces with garden furniture, deck chairs, tables and chairs.

With a surface area of almost 2 hectares, Al Pare offers different living spaces, depending on tastes, schedules and choices: private terraces, garden furniture, benches, hammocks placed in different places to enjoy the calm of the garden or the different views of the mountain.

There are numerous walking and hiking trails, from the "château" of Montferrer to the peak of Canigou (2784m) for the more athletic. For the sporty ones, the remarkable domain of Falgos, with spa, golf, restaurant... located almost in front of the mas, on the opposite side, in an exceptional setting.

And of course, the beaches (Collioure la belle, Banyuls, Argelès...) are only an hour away by car, the beautiful city of Céret and its superb museum of modern art are only ½ hour away, the Spanish border is only 40 minutes away... and from there, the beautiful city of Gérone, then Barcelona...
