In harmony with nature, secluded without nearby neighbors, in absolute tranquility with breathtaking views of the Corbières and the ruins of Durban Castle, this enchanting place captivates with its preserved natural environment. The cottage is nestled in the heart of Mediterranean vegetation, surrounded by lavender fields and pine trees. You find yourself within the Regional Natural Park of Narbonnaise, just 30 minutes from ponds and Mediterranean beaches, and 40 minutes from Narbonne and Perpignan. If an excursion to Collioure or Spain appeals to you, plan for approximately a 1-hour drive.

The cottage, adjoining the owner's residence, has an independent entrance and is located in the beautifully restored wing of an old stone sheepfold. On one level (with a few access steps), there is a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living-veranda open to nature and the cottage's garden, a bedroom with a double bed (160 cm), a bathroom, and separate toilets. The cottage opens onto a blossoming Mediterranean garden, where lavender fields coexist with various types of Mediterranean scrub and cypress trees. A private garden, with a gravel-covered terrace sheltered by a pergola, overlooks the valley, the village of Durban, and its ancient castle. Garden furniture is provided.

The owner, also a beekeeper, resides on-site and will be delighted to recommend the most beautiful walks. Services and shops, as well as a communal swimming pool, are accessible in Durban-Corbières. Please note that a mandatory end-of-stay cleaning fee (€50 additional) is to be settled directly on-site with the owner.
