Welcome to this beautiful gîte of over 180 m2, ideal for family and friends. Very well situated in the Corbières in the heart of the Cathar country, in the Orbieu valley, on the edge of a small village of only 20 inhabitants. A haven of peace at about 10 kms from the medieval village of Lagrasse and less than an hour from Carcassonne or the castle of Peyrepertuse. From the gîte, many of the cultural sites of the region are accessible, as well as a number of walks in this preserved natural environment, in the Corbières Fenouillèdes Natural Park. This beautiful stone house of character is composed on the ground floor: a living room-kitchen and lounge with fireplace-insert (hifi), a bedroom overlooking the garden (1 bed 140). Shower room, laundry room, WC. On the first floor, you will find 3 bedrooms: 1 with 2 single beds, another with 2 single beds that can be converted into a double bed, and the last one with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Then, 1 WC, bathroom and shower. A relaxation area with a library and a TV/DVD corner. A large shady garden with flowers is available as well as a summer kitchen and pergola. A swing is also available.
