Pretty gîte with a view over the Orbieu valley. Ideally situated in the heart of the Cathar country, in a haven of peace and quiet, in a small village of only 20 inhabitants. The medieval village of Lagrasse is about 10 kms away, and less than an hour from Carcassonne and the castle of Peyrepertuse. There are many cultural sites within easy reach, as well as many walks in the Corbières Regional Nature Park. Swimming is possible in several places, notably in the river only 500 metres away. Other sites such as Ribaute are nearby. The gîte is accessed from the private car park via a staircase which leads up to the front of the stone house with the terrace. The gîte has 3 levels. On the ground floor: a living room with fireplace (wood provided) and kitchenette. A shower room with a shower, a toilet and a washing machine. On the first floor: a relaxation area with television and library. Then a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. On the second floor: a bathroom with WC, a double bed and two single beds. On the parking level, a nice outdoor area with games (swing and table tennis) and a barbecue.
