The Ellington Court Apartment

The Ellington Court Apartment is formed out of one of Torquay's grand old Victorian villas. It is located in the St Luke's Road area of Torquay which is perched above Torquay seafront making it a very central base form which to explore all that The English Riviera has to offer.


It is a very tranquil neighbourhood and is therefore ideal for a relaxing break by the sea.


The walk from the apartment to the seafront is about ten minutes and down hill most of the way. This does mean that the return journey is up hill and walking back does require average fitness. There are plenty of taxis available locally and short journeys are not a problem.



The apartment is a ground floor single storey property and is all on one level. It has its own entrance and an allocated parking space immediately outside which makes it very easy and quick to unload and load up. The apartment is tiled throughout so has a very level and stable floor for guests who may have restricted mobility.


The apartment has a beautiful modern and well equipped kitchen containing all the appliances and equipment guests will need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen leads into a dining area which in turn leads into a beautiful, spacious sitting room where up to four people can spread out and relax in great comfort.


The property features two bedrooms both of which have ensuite shower rooms. The first bedroom has a king sized bed (UK size 5 foot width) and the second bedroom has a double bed (UK size 4 foot 6 inch width). Both bedrooms have plenty of storage space.


There is a very useful additional cloakroom which has a toilet and wash basin.


We are pleased to welcome well behaved dogs into the apartment. Owners are fully responsible for their pets. An extra charge does apply



The property is accessed by electric gates and there is a parking space for the apartment immediately outside the apartment for maximum convenience.


Behind the property, are some communal grounds which guests are welcome to use. It is requested that children are not left unattended in this area.



The property is in the very centre of Torquay and just above the man seafront. This means it is an excellent base from which to explore the area. Close by are beaches, the promenade and the historic Torre Abbey. Torquay harbour with its rich collection of restaurants and bars is a fifteen minute walk away. The property is very near the Abbey Sands development which features some fantastic restaurants and bars.
