Lage:
Located in a secluded area, on the sunny hillside, about 3 km above the town Viehhofen, amidst the skiing region Saalbach-Hinterglemm. In summer there are sheeps and horses on the alpine pasture.
Drive upwards on a 3 km long asphaltic road (in winter you need snow chains), 300 m before reaching the hut starts a crushed rock road (just continue driving). The slope to Viehhofen is just 300m from the cottage. You go there on ski and use the downhill (slope nr. 68) until you reach the town. From there you have a ski bus service to the ski lifts (about 5 km).


Entfernungen:
You are amidst the skiing region Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang! The town Viehhofen as well as the ski school are reachable in 3,5 km. The town Saalbach is about 12 km, a farmed hut with swimming pool just 300 m, a toboggan run 8 km and a cross-country ski run 5 km away from here. Routes for mountain biking and hiking start directly at the hut. The town Zell am See is 12 km.


Ausstattung:
This hut was built with a lot of personal engagement by the owner himself. Ground floor: shower, bath tub, 2 toilets, snuggery, sofa, satellite TV, dining table, kitchenette with electric cooker, oven, wood stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and staircase to the anteroom, here are 2 additional beds if needed. 3x alcove for sleeping with double bed, 1 room with bunk bed. Free Wi-Fi. Wood-fired central heating. In front of the hut are seats, sunbeds, a barbecue and of course a wonderful view!


Nebenkosten:
Firewood € 10,-/night, local tourism tax currently € 1,70/person/night, lump-sum € 2,50 -/person/night, bed linen can be rented for € 7,-/set. Please bring your own towels with you.

    “Dit vakantiehuis is een typische berghut maar dan wel met alle comfort.
    De vier "slaapkamers" hebben net de breedte van een tweepersoonsbed en zijn gescheiden door een houten wand. De twee badkamers zijn netjes evenals de twee aparte wc's.
    Er zijn tuinstoelen, ligbedden en een BBQ voorzien .
    Deze chalet ligt op een hoogte van 1250 m en is enkel bereikbaar via een smalle weg met 13 haarspeldbochten (niet geschikt voor mensen met hoogtevrees). Wanneer je een trip plant moet je dus telkens +/- 10 min. extra rekenen.
    Op 300m afstand ligt de gezellige Hecherhütte waar je iets kan eten of drinken. Je mag er dan ook gebruik maken van het zwembad.”

    “Een echte hut met de hedendaagse gemakken.
    2 stellen met 1 dreumes.
    Na een rit over een bergweg met 11 haarspeld bochten, kom je na 2 keer afslaan bij de hut. Wij waren daar in hartje winter dus sneeuwkettingen noodzakelijk. Het uitzicht is adembenemend, je blijft kijken! De hut is prima warm te houden met de houtkachel waarom de CV is aangesloten. Warm water via elektriciteit, dus ook als je een dag weg bent geweest volop douche- of badgelegenheid. Ideaal 2 WC's, een badkamer met wastafel en bad en een badkamer met wastafel en douche.
    Oven, vaatwasser en 2 koelkasten in het keukentje is super. Slapen in de nissen is prima te doen. De aanwezige banken zijn voldoende, maar net voldoende voor 4 volwassenen. Mocht je hier met veel volwassenen heen gaan dan moeten er ook mensen op de houten stoelen.
    De eigenaar/beheerder is zeer behulpzaam.
    Als de banken beter / meer waren dan was het een 5 sterren hut!”
