The small village of Čižići, is on one hand immersed into the sea, and on the other into the rich green areas. The narrow streets bordered by traditional architecture, built stone by stone, the gardens of Mediterranean plants and bushes with olive groves, and much more, alltogether offer a view of the Bay and further inland.
The picturesque Soline bay finds its roots in the pre-Roman salt works and is, still to this day, an oasis of peace, beauty and health. The town of Soline, which is close by, offers relaxation on clean and natural beaches, sea cleanliness, as well as the well-known medicinal mud beach that stretches over 1.2 kilometers. Just two kilometers away, the town of Klimno prides itself with its port and dry campsite as well as an abundance of restaurants by the shore that offer rich traditional mediterranean cuisine.
One of the attractions nearby is the Cave "Biserujka" which is approx. 11 kilometers away from Šilo, situated in a historic village Rudine. The cave is arranged for tourists to visit and is characterized by a wealth of cave decorations - calcite flowstones, especially stalagmites and stalactites. According to the speleological classification, it is a simple cave with a pit-like entrance and a slightly sloping cave channel.
The town Šilo is only 7 kilometers away. Šilo is a small tourist town on the Island of Krk and is perfect for those who seek a calm place to spend the whole day relaxing on the beach.
Apart from the beautiful sandy and pebble beaches suitable for children, there are plenty of secluded coves around Šilo, which can easily be reached on foot. The sandy beach is year after year awarded the 'Blue Flag' which praises sea cleanliness and clarity.
