Lage:
In the very west of the Salzburger Land, high above the town of Neukirchen, in the Trattenbachtal, in absolute seclusion and tranquility. The Wildkogel Arena is located between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The region offers varied hikes, many imposing peaks and the incomparable panorama of the Wildkogel! Leisure cyclists and mountain bikers get their moneys worth here.


Entfernungen:
Village Neukirchen with swimming pool, tennis and bicycle rental 13km. Farmed alpine hut, where you can buy agricultural products like milk, bread, butter, cheese and eggs, or recover with an alpine snack, coffee and cake, 2km. Fishing possibilities in 3km. Numerous hiking- and mountainbike trails in front of the cottage.


Ausstattung:
Comfortable hut snuggery with seats, satellite TV and tiled stove, kitchen with electric cooker (2 plates), oven, wood stove, coffee machine, chilly cellar to store foodstuffs and drinks, freezer. Shower, toilet. Upper floor: three bedrooms with altogether 9 beds and 1 cot (length 150cm). Heating with tiled stove. Washing machine available. In front of the hut is a fenced garden with seats, a barbecue and a fantastic view. Next to the hut is an empty stable.


Nebenkosten:
Electricity € 0,40/kWh, local tourism tax currently € 1,95/kWh, residual waste € 12,-/bag. Bed linen can be rented for € 15,-/set. Deposit € 300,-. pet per week € 40,-

    “Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub auf der Alm. Die urige, einfach ausgestattete Alm liegt in traumhafter Alleinlage hoch oben in den Bergen (Anfahrt ca. 45 min von Neukirchen). Vom Haus aus kann man direkt loswandern. Auf der Hütte findet man (fast) alles wie beschrieben vor. Die Waschmaschine (schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen) war bei uns nicht angeschlossen. Es gibt keinen Mobil-Empfang, das WLAN funktionierte jedoch einwandfrei. Wir haben mit dem Holzofen gekocht und auch gebacken - ging (mit etwas Vorerfahrung) ohne Probleme. Unsere vier Kinder haben die Umgebung mit den Tieren (ca. 30 Kühe) sehr genossen.
    Die Stallungen grenzen direkt an die Wohn- und Schlafräume, baulich ist dies deutlich suboptimal gelöst. Die Kuhgeräusche sowie das Melken um ca. 5 Uhr morgens beeinträchtigen die Nachtruhe doch erheblich. Was für uns noch gravierender war, war der ausgeprägte Kuhstallgeruch, der sich durch alle Räume zog. Diesen hartnäckigen Geruch haben wir zwangsläufig von der Alm mit nach Hause gebracht - aktuell sind wir dabei unsere komplette Bekleidung, Decken und Kissen einmal durchzuwaschen, ob wir den Geruch aus den Koffern wieder herausbekommen, wird sich zeigen. Wem der Kuhstallgeruch nichts ausmacht, findet hier ein aussergewöhnliches Quartier in traumhafter Lage. Wir würden wegen des Geruchs dieses Objekt nicht nochmals buchen.”

    “lieber Gast, ohje das tut uns leid, dass Sie da nicht ganz zufrieden waren. Ich habe mit dem Hüttenbesitzer gesprochen (er hätte es Ihnen gerne noch selbst vor Ort erklärt, aber Sie sind 1Tag eher heim). Auf der Alm wird 1x im Sommer Gülle ausgefahren. Die wird im Stall aufbereitet, eingeladen und auf die Wiesen ausgefahren. Das ist wirklich nur 1x im Sommer und leider war es genau in Ihrer Woche! Die Bauern versuchen es vor Regen zu machen, damit dieser die Gülle gleich in den Boden einbringt und auch der Geruch ist dann wieder weg - am Gülletag riecht man den Stall natürlich sehr!
    Wir würden uns freuen, wenn Sie wieder bei uns buchen!”
