In the immediate vicinity you will find great hiking and biking opportunities and in winter you will find the cross-country ski trails right outside the cottage door. There are 10 km of easy trails in the area and a cross-country skiing network of 220 kilometers. If you want to ski, you can take a day trip to Hurdal and the ski area there.
Feel free to visit Hadeland Glassverk for activities for the whole family. Visit the bakery for delicious baked goods and a cup of coffee. It is also recommended to plan time to visit Kistefos and the spectacular art museum 'The Twist'. In just an hour's drive you can also reach Oslo, if you want to experience real big city feeling.
