Large, comfortable and spacious character gîte in the Mas du Couloumé. This isolated former farmhouse is located on a 100-hectare property. You'll be surrounded by greenery, overlooking the valley in a mid-mountain region with a Mediterranean climate. A change of scenery and peace and quiet are guaranteed, and you'll be able to disconnect from everyday life.

Our Mas will also delight lovers of peace and quiet, as from your front door you can set off on 3 different walks. You'll be 2 km from the Spanish border, 43 km from Figueres, 35 km from Céret, 30 minutes from Prats de mollo and close to the Canigou massif (the sea and its fine sandy beach are 60 km away). The church of Sainte-Marie, in the small village of Coustouges (800m away), is a jewel of Romanesque art that's a must-see.

Ground floor You'll enter directly into the fully-equipped kitchen, with access to the laundry room. 4 steps lead up to the living room and bedrooms. The large living room has been fitted out to highlight the character of the building, with its large volumes and fireplace. 2 bedrooms, master bedroom (1 x 160cm bed), children's bedroom: 2 single beds (suitable for a couple). Bathroom and separate WC. Upstairs, open-plan mezzanine with extra bed, which could be used as a third bedroom.

Instructions concerning dogs: Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash throughout the property. No exceptions will be made. (We have livestock, and the property is also a hunting reserve).
