Villa El Botin is undeniably : ‘A house with a view’! Every where you look around, even from the heated pool, the magnificent landscape takes your breath away. You can see both the mountains and the sea. You are surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature, amidst large olive and almond groves. The house is located on a quiet road but is just a 5 minute drive from the beautiful Andalusian village Comares, also known as ‘The pearl of the Axarquia’ and voted ‘Pueblo magico d’España’. There are beautiful terraces, some shaded to enjoy outdoor dining.
The house has 4 bedrooms and living room and 2 bathrooms. There is a very cosy and comfortable living room with pellet stove for the colder evenings and a large patio door that opens onto the terrace. The kitchen is completely equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, fridge and all the necessary kitchen utensils. There is tv, DVD, stereo, FREE WIFI and ample parking space.
Monthly rentals (28 days or more) do NOT include electricity, gas bottles (if required) and pellets for the pellets stove.It is possible to rent the villa monthly from January to March.
Air conditioning costs: a package per week is included in your stay, after which you pay for what you use.
The large, private swimming pool (12m x 4m) can be heated. The heated swimming pool is available from April 1 to November 15. There are terraces with views of the Mediterranean see and the mountains. A special BBQ area outside invites you to cook and dine al fresco. This part of southern Spain has got the best climate of all of Europe, Winters are very mild here, witness to this are the many tropical fruits that grow here : platanos, mango’s, cherymoyas, and avocados. Imagine, enjoying all this with friends or family in a super relaxing environment…’Sweet dreams are made of this.’Our guests can also bring 1 pet, but please note, only after consultation..
The pretty village of Comares has been voted ‘Pueblo Magico d’España’ and is often called ‘The pearl of the Axarquia’. It has cosy restaturants and bars, a supermarket, a bakery (bread baked in wood-oven!), banks, a pharmacy and ATM. Every morning there is a doctor present. Just outside the village you can enjoy the via ferratas of the biggest Tirolina in Spain. The magnificent surroundings invite you to hike, bike, mountainbike or just…relax and enjoy the views.The award-winning beach of Torre del Mar is only 40 minutes (approx) by car from the house. You can find many marvellous ‘chiringuitos’ (beach restaurants) where you can enjoy fresh fish that comes directly from the nearby fishing harbour of Caleta de Velez. Velez Malaga which is next to Torre del Mar has a big commercial centre. The beautiful lake of Viñuela lies at a 40 minute drive from the house (approx). You can hike around the lake and enjoy a good meal in one of the restaurants. Nerja, with its famous caves and the well known Balcon d’ Europa is about an hours drive (approx ) from the house. Málaga, pearl of gastronomy and culture is also just an hour away. Visit one of the many museums, visit a real Flamenco show or shop till you drop in the famous Calle Larios. Málaga has something to offer for everyone.Villa El Botin is also perfectly situated for visiting other parts of Andalusia. You can visit Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba (Mezquita) or the world famous Caminito del Rey, during a day trip.And there is so much more ! Come and discover the beauty of Andalusia ant the warmth of its inhabitants.
