3-room flat in the Residence Les Terrasses du Lac, Aureilhan

This holiday complex is in a quiet location, just a short walk from Lake Aureilhan. The two-storey houses are located in the heart of a typical pine forest of the region. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, so you can prepare something tasty at any time to eat comfortably. In addition to the exclusive location, the highlight of the idyllic complex is especially the large, heated communal swimming pool. A beach holiday is especially suitable for families with small children. Let the little ones sparching without stress in the calm anymore without being afraid of the pounding waves of the Atlantic Ocean, but these are also only ten kilometers away and must be visited at least once. Well-developed bicycle and hiking trails invite to make excursions in the area. Not far from Mimizan (about four kilometers) and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean (about ten kilometers), the city of Aureilhan is considered an ideal destination for families. The place is known for a varied range of leisure activities. In addition to water sports, cycling, walks and horse riding trips are mainly recommended by the beautiful nature.

Activities in the area: An ideal place for water sports awaits you almost at the door. The lake of aureilhan, with its two guarded beaches, especially invites families with children to entertain themselves. You can rent pedal boats and canoes and explore the lake on your own, or make a crossing with a catamaran. Along the coast lead numerous paths that you can explore on foot or by bicycle. The wide environment is ideal for interesting day trips. For example, drive to the nearby Atlantic coast and visit the dune from Pilat (about an hour's drive). Further to the north, the bay of Arcachon and Cap Ferret are also worth a detour. The beautiful city of Bordeaux is also easily accessible at around 110 kilometers

    “Grußer Minuspunkt in diesem Fall: Die Fabrik Gascogne Paper in Mimizan stinkt bei bestimmten Produktionsvorgängen bzw, Windrichtung dermaßen,dass man Fenstern und Türen schließen MUSS bzw, sich auch nicht draußen aufhalten kann, Das war fast jeden Tag irgendwann der Fall und hat viele Gäste sehr gestört,”

    “Ich zähle nur die Dinge auf, die uns nicht gefallen haben (bitte bedenken: wir sind 65 und 67 Jahre alt):
    – Wohnung für 2-4 Personen okay, ab dann sehr eng
    – steile und enge Treppe in die beiden oberen Schlafzimmer, oben auch keine Toilette
    – Nachttische für die Nachttischlampe nur bedingt geeignet, da keine oben durchgängige Stellfläche (mir ist bei der ersten Berfürhung mit der Lampe der Sockel verrutscht – Lampe gekippt, Birne defekt)
    – kein Wasserkocher
    – Dusche nur in der Badewanne
    – Holzstühle in der Küche sehr schwer und unbequem
    – kleiner Kiesweg zur Terrasse hin würde vermeiden, dass man bei regnerischem Wetter viel Schmutz in die Wohnung trägt
    – oft unangenehme Geruchsbelastung durch naheliegende Papierfabrik
    – Auto darf aus nicht nachvollziehbaren Gründen die Woche über nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe der Wohnung geparkt werden”

    “Ausstattung, Lage und Preis sind sehr gut, die Sauberkeit lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Keine Entsorgungsmöglichkeit von Altglas und Plastik.”

    “Wir können dieses Objekt nur weiterempfehlen!
    Sie finden eine ruhige und sehr gepflegte Anlage vor. Die kleinen Häuschen sind zu viert sehr gut bewohnbar. Nebenan kann man sich auf dem benachbarten Campingplatz sehr gut am Market eindecken,- außerdem sind Le Clerc & Lidl gleich 1.5 km um die Ecke. Pool ist cool, jedoch lockt der anliegende warme See richtig zum Baden ein. Sand, flach und traumhaft. Zum Meer fahren Sie gute zehn Minuten. Man kann in kurzer Zeit einige Strände erreichen.”

    “Die Ferienwohnung war sauber, gut ausgestattet und befand sich in einem guten Zustand. Die Anlage selber war überschaubar ,ruhig und gepflegt. Pool war sauber und nie überfüllt. Lage am See mit Spielplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe. Fitnessraum mit Billardtisch war zu früh geschlossen.”
