Fishing is possible on request on a 5000 m² nature reserve with Kneipp facility and its own fishing water. The holiday home is located in a holiday home area with 3 identical houses, quietly located on the edge of the village, with no through traffic, near a farm where children are welcome to feed the sheep, for example. A bread delivery service is offered at an additional cost. A washing machine/dryer and a sauna and solarium are available for general use for a fee. The altitude (385 m above sea level) offers you a wonderful panoramic view of the nature reserve of the Franconian Forest nature park. The house has been classified with 4 stars by the DTV.

Activities nearby: The western gateway is Markt Mitwitz, the pearl of the Steinachtal, with its surroundings in this romantic holiday region of Northern Bavaria. Right on Bierstrae and Burgenstrae, and very central for trips to nearby Coburg, Kronach, Sonneberg in the "Gods Garden" around Staffelstein with the Vierzehnheiligen Basilica and Banz Castle. The Thuringian Forest with the most famous of all hiking trails, the Rennsteig, starts just a few kilometers from Mitwitz. Visit the cozy village restaurants, the gastronomy offers specialties from the Franconian Forest. The little ones are also thought of, there is a children's pool, table tennis and a playground with slide
