Fishing licenses are required for Lursjön and Tydingesjön, but not for Lillasjön. You can swim in the sea at the fine sandy beach near Åhus.
Interesting destinations nearby include: Tykarpsgrottan, Älgsafari, Osby Lekoseum, Hovdala Slott, Vanås Slott, Älmhult with IKEA museum, Naturum och Vattenriket in Kristianstad, Svarta Bergen (known for its black granite). Day trips to Österlen or Blekinge archipelago are also possible.
