About ten minutes walk you need to the inn of the owner family, where you are always welcome. Here you will also find a farm store where you can buy all kinds of regional farm products directly from the farm. The adjacent Schilcher vineyard is the highest in the world and here you can taste the fruity-fresh rosé wine ? a Styrian specialty ? with pleasure.
The location of the lovingly prepared farmhouse is ideal for setting off directly for hikes in the alpine world. Take a hike together with your family along the approx. 6 km long Chestnut Trail, which leads you through the beautiful hilly landscape of Styria. In between, enjoy cooling off in one of the baths or lakes of the Schilcherland, for example in the open-air swimming pool Stainz, only 10 km away. But you should also visit the village of Stainz itself during your vacation in a vacation home in Styria, it is worth it. Another excursion could take you to the town of Deutschlandsberg, where there is a great castle museum to visit, but also the Laßnitz-Klause, the Jauk winery and a bit further the Hollenegg Castle.
