No matter what reason brings you to us, be it vacation, work, visiting relatives or an appointment at the university clinic: we would like to offer you a smoke-free home away from home with our four DTV-certified **** vacation apartments, which offer contemporary comfort and optimal transport links without missing peace and quiet. Free parking spaces are available directly at the house, as well as two wallboxes for inexpensive charging of your e-car. You are welcome to store your bicycles in our bicycle garage.
In addition, you have with us within walking distance to the network of public transport, the Lahn bike trail and numerous opportunities for local supply. By train, for example, you can reach Marburg's main train station in just 5 minutes. From there you have a direct bus connection to the hospitals and institutes on the Lahnberge, the industrial park Behringwerke and of course the optimal starting point to discover the city center of Marburg.

Travelers with dogs will be pleased to know that all our apartments have now been tested by the DTV and the portal "Deine Tierwelt" as dog-friendly accommodations and have been certified with four out of five possible paws! For 15,-€/night and pet we are happy to provide our extensive pet package for your traveling fur nose.

GROSSE PAUSE

With our BIG BREAK! we would like to give families or people traveling with friends the opportunity to book a comfortable and smoke-free temporary home close to the city.

With a total of approx. 90 sqm, the GROSSE PAUSE! offers space for four people in two beds (a French bed with 140 x 200 cm and a slightly larger one with 160 x 200 cm). In addition, if necessary, a travel crib for guests up to 3 years can be placed here.

What is interesting about this apartment is the layout, which offers guests the possibility of individual retreat. In concrete terms, this means that we have created two areas that can be separated from each other. In each of these two areas, in addition to the sleeping area, there is a dining area for up to four people, a couch, TV, as well as a workstation. One shares the kitchen, the bathroom and the guest toilet.

In detail we have described here once again the individual areas:

Entrée/ hallway:

A wardrobe for your jackets and coats, a shelf for wet shoes, a seat, as well as a full-body mirror are ready to either let you go into the day in a good mood or take off the first "ballast" in the evening.

Guest Area 1:

 Here we have a large all-room where you can comfortably have breakfast with up to four people, or relax on the couch with footstool in the evening, watch TV (55" flat screen) or read. And if your eyelids do get too heavy, just drop into the comfortable bed (160 x 200 cm). We have also placed a closet here. The area is lockable, which means that if you go home for the weekend, for example, you can assume that everything will remain as you left it.

Kitchen:

Our kitchen, newly installed in 2021, holds everything you need to cook and enjoy: Induction stove with glass extractor, combi oven with microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with *** freezer compartment. In addition, the usual electrical appliances, such as kettles, toasters and coffee makers (filter & coffee pad). In addition to enough pots and pans, you will find a selection of storage containers, cutting boards and cooking utensils. For those in a hurry, we also have a breakfast counter set up in our kitchen. Here you can enjoy the first coffee in the morning for two or "schnibbeln and klönen" together in the evening while cooking. Placemats, dishes, cutlery, glasses for wine, water, juice and wheat beer can be found in the cabinet next to the counter, or visible on the shelf above the counter.

Bathroom:

The bathroom offers a washstand and a wall-hung low-flush toilet, a large rain shower (140 x 90 cm) with glass doors, a towel radiator, hair dryer, care items in organic quality and towels in various sizes.

Guest area 2:

In square meters identical to guest area 1, but here divided into two rooms and separated from the rest of the apartment by means of glass closing door. In the small bedroom there is a French bed (140 x 200 cm), two bedside tables with reading lamps and a closet. For the last check before starting the day there is a mirror in the hallway. Next door we have created a small living-working room. Here you can also relax comfortably on a couch with footstool and watch TV (55" flatscreen), check the latest mails at your workstation (free WLAN) or eat with up to four people.

Outdoor area:

 From spring to fall, we offer a small seating area with a parasol on the covered pergola for outdoor time.

Parking:

You are welcome to put the bicycles you have brought with you in our bicycle garage. For your car or motorcycle we have a free parking space next to the house. Guest toilet: Equipped with hand basin and wall-hung toilet (due to structural conditions, the seat height is slightly lower than usual).

Cleaning utensils:

Broom, hand brush, shovel, vacuum cleaner, as well as a selection of cleaning agents and garbage bags we keep ready for our guests in our cleaning agent cabinet in the stairwell. Please return everything there after use so that other guests can also access it if necessary. Should something be defective, please let us know so that we can organize a replacement or repair as quickly as possible. Thank you very much!

Washing machine/ Drying room:

For quick laundry in between, we keep a washing machine and a dryer in the boiler room for our guests to use free of charge. Please note the operating instructions.
