Your vacation home is located in Eastern Styria directly in the so-called Joglland ? the forest home of the Austrian writer Peter Rosegger. Lakes and outdoor pools offer cooling on hot days, hikes and bike tours through the beautiful landscape of Eastern Styria are just as much an option as a visit to the Felber chocolate factory, the Augustinerstift Vorau or Rosegger's birthplace. The region's panoramic roads take you to lofty heights, where a cool breeze blows on hot days. You should definitely plan a round trip on the Feistritztalbahn, which is pulled by either a steam or diesel locomotive. The landscape leisurely passes you by and at the station Koglhof a summer toboggan run and a motor park are on the program, then it's back again.

Let the innkeepers prepare tasty dishes for you in the regional restaurants and enjoy regional dishes such as the giant buns from the Buchtelbar Wenigzell. Very popular souvenirs from the Joglland region are chocolate and schnapps.
