Our well-kept house is located directly on the Moselpromenade in Mehring. Feel comfortable in bright, lovingly furnished guest rooms with sunbathing and in our new, modern holiday apartment. In the morning you can enjoy a rich breakfast in our lounge with a guest kitchen.
The winemaker family around the full-time winemaker Alfred Frick, will be happy to help you with questions about your stay. If you are interested, we can offer you a wine tasting, a cellar visit or an idyllic wine hike. You can book this in advance.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PLACE:
Only 15 km from the oldest city in Germany, Trier, our wine and holiday resort of Mehring is situated amidst the Moselle. Originally mentioned for the first time in 752 AD, the town can still look back on a rich tradition until the Roman era. With around 2,500 inhabitants, Mehring is one of the largest Moselle towns on the Roman wine route. So the place offers you many culinary, as well as business deals. Here you will never get bored! Not for nothing is it in our traditional songs: "If you ever been to the Moselle, want to come back every year!" In the village you will find the following shops: baker, butcher, supermarket, pharmacy, doctor, hairdresser, bicycle rental, autowerkstatt. Naturally, your physical well-being is also taken care of. Many restaurants offer both Moselle and international cuisine. Public transport is also available.
Bernkastel-Kues is 22 km away and Cochem is 47 km from the property. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling and hiking. Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is 36 km away.
Relax during your holiday at the Moselle in our new, renovated apartment - in our wine-growing house right on the river! On an area of 55 square meters you will find everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A fully equipped kitchen with comfortable seating for breakfast. You will find the following appliances / equipment: dining table, coffee machine, detergent, ceramic hob, oven sufficient dishes and cutlery, fridge-freezer, toaster, water cooker. In the large living / dining room with cable TV you can relax your evenings with a bottle of Moselwein, from our own production.
The spacious bedroom can accommodate two people and in the large wardrobe all the luggage can be found. Bed linen and towels, as well as radio alarms are available. Right next to the bedroom you will find a comfortable bathroom with shower / WC.
The apartment can be reached via your separate entrance of our house. When the weather is nice you can enjoy your leisure time on a seat in the private garden. Free parking is available at the hotel. Smoking in the apartment is not allowed. Wifi is provided for you.
