In the 2018 renovated apartment you can relax and feel at home. The master bedroom has a double bed (1.60mx2.00m) with wardrobe, the children's room has a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, WC and hairdryer. The lovingly furnished living and dining room with integrated kitchen has a living area, a large flat screen TV, a cosy dining area and a kitchen where cooking is really fun. Dishwasher, coffee machine, Senseo machine, microwave etc. are available here. A washing machine with tumble dryer is also available in the apartment.
You can enjoy the wonderful North Sea air on the terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. And if the sun is too hot, the awning provides shade. The garden furniture is available from Easter to mid-October.
Friedrichskoog is conveniently located in the southern part of the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. The romantic fishing and bathing resort with healthy North Sea air is ideal for a holiday with children. The beach is shallow and well supervised. There is a large pirate playground, the Willi Wal indoor play hall and, of course, the seal centre. There are also many cycling and hiking trails to discover the North Sea coast at your leisure. Friedrichskoog is also a great starting point for mudflat hikes or day trips to all the highlights along the coast, or excursions to the islands and Halligen.
***As part of the necessary dyke reinforcement, the dyke in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will be given a new profile from April 2024 until probably the end of 2025 in order to withstand the demands of climate change. The beach in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will NOT be usable during the entire construction period.
The spa park will also be redesigned from autumn 2023 and additional facilities will be added. These include, for example, a widened dyke crown path, spacious terraces including a panorama box and a dyke and park grandstand with seating steps to linger on. From spring 2024, the completed event and play area of the spa park is expected to provide a varied alternative to the bathing beach.
Friedrichskoog will become even more attractive for you, but unfortunately this will not be possible without noise, dirt and road restrictions. We ask for your understanding ***
