The property Encosta do Sobreiro with an overall area of 2,5 hectares is located in the beautiful mountain village of Vila Soeiro do Chão, Fornos de Algodres, at the foothills of Serra da Estrela – Unesco´s World Geopark.

Casa da Lareira stands out by the originality of its architecture and is composed of:

– 2 bedrooms (en suites). Both bedrooms have hairdryer, TV and wardrobes. Possibility to add a baby cot or travel bed, upon request.

– Fully furnished and equipped kitchen with counter seating , appliances and kitchen utensils (ceramic hob, oven, combined fridge, dishwasher, microwave, blender, juicer, Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster).

– Beautiful living room with a wood stove, dining table and chairs, sofa, another maple and television. Central heating, air conditioning, internet wireless and cable TV.

The whole house is full of incredible natural light and wide green views over valleys and mountains, which surround the property.

Please find on the exterior of the House at Encosta do Sobreiro: Saltwater swimming pool, Open air fireplace, Wood fired oven, Certified children playground, Rent a Bike for children or adults and bicycles equipped with a baby seats. (additional cost) Also we have available off road jeep tours (additional Cost), Laundry Service (additional cost) and private parking.

– An outdoor covered area with a wooden deck, barbecue, a table for the ideal meal and a stone open air fireplace, should you wish to unwind in a comforting environment with the flames on your side, at night time.

– A cosy lawn garden area with a private pool, designed essentially by the beauty it displays, which is a place of true delight for those who are there.

In addition to these attractions that enhance the sensorial exploration, there is a set of recreational and leisure activities at your disposal throughout the property.

Besides the energizing time spent on the property in contact with nature or simply enjoying yourself, discover and explore internationally recognized attractions nearby and other points of interest on the surroundings.
