Spend long vacation days in an area with beautiful nature and experiences.

The cozy cottage is tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and beautiful details. Around the large dining table there is plenty of space to enjoy long meals, play games and lay out the map to plan the next trip.

The house has a beautiful and partially covered terrace, so you can enjoy the fresh air here in almost any weather. On nice sunny days you can just relax on the terrace, or take a pleasant dip in the wood-fired hot tub, which is available for you from the beginning of May until the end of October.

In this area you have nature right at your doorstep. The golf course in Sorknes is not far from the house. Good opportunities for excursions on foot or by bike can be found nearby. On the golf course there is also a facility for soccer golf. If you want to fish in this beautiful landscape, there are several good opportunities. The Rena River is considered one of the most attractive rivers in Norway. With long stretches where the river flows quietly through the landscape and a very rich insect life, it provides a perfect base for dry fly fishing for big fish. Up to 12 different species of fish have been recorded in the river, there is a particularly good population of trout and grayling. In some places of the river there are also pike.

Besides the Rena River, there is also good fishing in Glomma, Søre-Osa, Åsta and Julussa, as well as in several good mountain lakes. You can also visit various attractions in the area, such as the Norwegian Forest Museum and Glomdalsmuseet with its activities in Elverum. Or visit Osen to try water sports activities at Lake Osensjøen or visit the flea museum Sørlistøa.

Spend your vacation here and experience a variety of nature experiences and especially good fishing. You are very welcome!

NB: The Finnish wooden bath is closed in winter from October until the end of March.
