Die Wohnung befindet sich direkt über der Ueckermünder Buchhandlung, im ersten Stock eines behutsam sanierten denkmalgeschütztem Hauses.  Sie bietet einen schönen Blick auf den Markt und hat eine tolle zentrale Lage - nur wenige hundert Meter vom Hafen und Bahnhof entfernt. Das Seebad Ueckermünde liegt am Stettiner Haff und ist ein Geheimtip für Alle, die dem Trubel der Ostseebäder entfliehen wollen. Von Berlin aus ist es nach Ueckermünde der kürzeste Weg ans Meer. Die malerische Altstadt hat nahezu unbeschädigt den Krieg überstanden und kann nach umfassender Sanierung ihren ganzen Charme entfalten. Ein wunderbarer Naturpark, Hafen,  Strand, Tierpark, Kino, das Ueckermünder Schloss, zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants laden zum Besuch. Die beschaulichen Dörfer der Ueckermünder Heide eignen sich ideal zum Entschleunigen. Wen es in die Stadt zieht , für den sind Stettin und Greifswald nicht weit.  Bis an die Strände der Kaiserbäder ist es eine Stunde Fahrt, nach Berlin sind es zwei. Ueckermünde ist ab Berlin und Hamburg mit dem jeweiligen Länderticket der Deutschen Bahn erreichbar.
