This beach apartment, with view to the sea out of nearly every window and from the terrace, is situated between the popular beach resorts of Manta Rota and Monte Gordo in the eastern part of the algarve and at the edge of the nature reserve.

The beach. apartment Praia Lota offers excellent moments of peace and tranquility, being at the end of a cul de sac, located on a privileged area, only 200mtr walk on a paved way through the dunes to the beach offering unspoilt seaview.
The two bedroom beach apartment on the elevated ground floor is about 85sqmtr. in size, the building being completed inIt offers undisturbed views to the sea. Amenities, like a four star restaurant, cafés, a supermarket, a hardware store, beach restaurants are in short walking distance.
A maid comes once a week to change linnen and towels. Please bring your own towels for the use of the beach.
Lounge: The living room has a wood burning fireplace and an additonal marble heater for the cooler months. The windows have mosquitos creening and allow the nearly always present sea breeze to cool down the apartment in the summer months. To make your holiday most comfortabel, the livingroom has a Satelite Tv, a Radio/cd player, 2 sofas to snuggle in, a comfortable armchair, tables and cupboard and a desk where you can write some holiday cards to friends and relatives. You can enter the 12 sqmtr. terrace through a big french opening door from the livingroom, where you find a table and seating for 4 -6 people. You have sea view from the livingroom and the terrace.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully fitted with large cup boards and plenty of storage place. It also has a microwave, a washing machine, a mixer and a modern gaz cooker with an electrical oven, It also offers a big fridge and a small freezer plus a table and chairs for 4 people. While you are cooking or doing the washing up, you can gaze on to the sea.
Bedroom(S): The master bedroom has two very comfortable twin beds, size 1mtr. x 2mtr. each and a big wardrobe where you can comfortably hang in all your clothes. While having your cup of tea in bed, you can watch out to the sea. The second bedroom lies quietly to the back with views to the garden and hills. It has a double bed and a commode where you can store your belongings and chairs. The entrance of the apartment offers a second wardrobe which can be used as well to hang additional clothes.
Bathroom(S): The bathroom has a Wc, a bidet and a bath/shower. The apartment has a second toilet with a basin and a cupboard close to the second bedroom.
Both bathrooms are nicely decorated to a good standard.
Superb sandy beaches are within easy reach and all have the Eec Blue Flag for cleanliness and pollution free water.
Praia Lota Beach - this is the beach in front of the apartment which stretches to the beach of Altura, Praia Verde and Monte Gordo to the left and to the beach of Manta Rota, Cabanas and Tavira to the right.
This part of the eastern coast belongs to the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa, a paradiese for bird watching, consisting of dunes and a lagoon complex.
All beaches along the eastern coast offer bars of fine sand and warm waters, peace and quiet in the less visited zones and more exciting water activities like canoeing, windsurf, sailing, diving, beach volleyball, tennis, pedaloes in the zones around towns like Monte Gordo, Altura, Manta Rota, Tavira.
Even in August you will always find miles of peaceful, beautiful dune fringess beaches.
Nearby you can enjoy the stunning golf fields of Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima as well as the town of Tavira, Castor Marim and the fine looking Marina of Vila Real de Santo Antonio.
The beach apartment Praia Lota lies in the municipality of Vila Real de Santo Antonio, which is right next to the municipality of Tavira. Communication in the Algarve is by road but there is a single track railway line running from Lagos to Vila Real de Santo Antonio that also links to the line running to Lisbon and the North. The old main road En125 runs along the whole coast and has now been greatly replaced by the new parallel motorway (also known as the Via do Infante/ A22, starting at the spanish border and stretching west to Lagos. Close to Albufeira it joins with the motorway to Lisbon. There is one international airport close to Faro and this conveniently lies in the middle of the algarve coastline.
