This modern, detached cottage in an idyllic location with spectacular sea views, is an attractive choice for a seaside holiday. Set on Killard Hill, close to the owner’s home, this quaint cottage is within 5 minutes’ walk of the lovely secluded White Strand Beach.
Renovated to a very good standard, it is a short drive from the beautiful Doughmore Beach. Doonbeg is an ideal location for fresh water fishing and sea angling.
Killard Cottage is an ideal base to explore the beautiful coast of Clare and enjoy The Burren, Ailwee Caves, Cliffs of Moher and the Loop Head Peninsula.
There is golf at Doonbeg and lovely cliff walks locally and in the nearby resort of Kilkee (10 minutes’ drive). Shops, restaurant and pubs 2 miles.
Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with beams and wooden floor. 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room with toilet and steep, spiral stairs to connecting first floor single bedroom with Velux and sloping ceilings.

    “de volledig nieuwe cottage biedt een prachtig zicht op de Oceaan. Rustige wandelingen langs de kust. Er is Netflix voor een regendag maar het slechte weer blijft niet hangen, mooie uitzichten! Heel goed uitgeruste keuken. 3 km van het eigenlijke dorp. Dicht bij het strand, 6 minuten wandeling! Positiv: Echte aanrader!! Prachtig verblijf, alles aanwezig, fantastisch uitzicht! Prima ontvangst en ook bij vertrek kwam de eigenares langs voor een praatje! Negativ: niks, staat in mijn top 3 van beste vakantiewoningen van de laatste 30 jaar!”

    “Wunderschönes, geräumiges Cottige an Superlage Positiv: Das Cottage ist hell, geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll möbliert. In der Küche findet sich alles Notwendige, und sollte man etwas vermissen, wohnen die Vermieter gleich auf der andern Seite der Strasse. Sie sind sehr nett, äusserst hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Der Blick zum Atlantik ist wunderschön, die Sonnenuntergänge umwerfend. Um eindrückliche Klippen zu sehen muss man nicht zu den Cliffs of Moher fahren, das kann man gleich um die Ecke haben. Beste Reisezeit: Spring, summer, autumn, winter - Das das Cottage über eine gute Heizung und zudem über einen Ofen verfügt, kann man es sich auch an kalten Tagen gemütlich machen. Ausflüge: Leuchtturm Loop Head - Schöne Fahrt, spektakuläre Felsenklippen, südwestlichster Punkt von Irland mit Leuchtturm, der besichtigt werden kann.”

    “Sehr zu empfehlen für 2- 3 Personen ein schmuckes niedlich resauriertest Cottage :) Positiv: Das Pony neben dem Auto Stellplatz vermittelte ein Gefühl von noch Hause kommen.
    The Landlord was really friendly, typical irish and never to busy for a Little Chat :) Negativ: Typical Irish Weather, but Hey After all it's Ireland :) Umgebung: Supermarket, restaurant, market - Örtliche Pubs und einen Minimarkt der alles notwendige hat, die nächste Stadt ist sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen und dort gibt es die einschlägigen Supermarktketten :)”
