Are you looking for accommodation near Lucerne and Interlaken? Do you like authentic, old houses? Then you will love your stay in a renovated, typical village house right next to the Alpnach-Dorf train station.

GERLIS is a 3-room apartment (80 m2) on the first floor. Simple, colourful, chabby-chic. With kitchen-living room, garden and small fitness room.

Pilatus, Titlis, Rigi and four ski areas are only minutes away. Wi-Fi, TV, free laundry. Shopping in the village. In five minutes in the nature.

Apartment GERLIS provides the following rooms / beds: 3 bedrooms with one double bed each (6 beds). The double beds can be pulled apart and used as single beds. If required we can provide an additional bed. A baby bed is available for small children. 

The kitchen offers everything you need to cook and enjoy. With large table for six people. From the kitchen table you can watch TV.

The bathroom is spacious and contains everything you need for personal hygiene. Towels, bathrobes, shower gel and shampoo are provided.

Our guests have access to the following rooms:
- Fitness room on the ground floor
- Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer
- Garden with playground, pergola with table and six chairs to eat outside
 
We live in the same house, third floor. If you have any questions, we are always here for our guests. We are happy to support them with tips and suggestions for excursions in the surroundings. Would you like to explore the region off the official tourist trails? We would be happy to tell you our walking tips.

Our guests appreciate the short distances from Alpnach: Lucerne 15 minutes, Interlaken 30 minutes, Pilatus 5 minutes, Titlis 30 minutes, etc. The Titlis, Melchsee-Frutt, Lungern-Schönbühl and Hasliberg ski areas are only 15 to 40 minutes away.
 
Obwalden is one of the most typical landscapes in Central Switzerland: unspoilt, varied and intact. In summer it is a brilliant region for hikers, mountain bikers and motorcyclists. In winter it is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders. In addition, numerous beautiful villages and towns, interesting places and places of interest are waiting to be discovered. If you are looking for nature and recreation, this is the right place. Those who practice sports at the highest level also get their money's worth. 
 
Please note that the Guber-Haus offers two holiday apartments: The apartment GERLIS on the first floor and the apartment BARLIS on the second floor.

There is one guest parking space per apartment. You travel with more than one car? No problem. There is a public parking lot 50 meters away. Additional parking spaces cost CHF 5 per day.
 
Alpnach is located in the canton of Obwalden, in the heart of Central Switzerland. Our house is located right next to the train station. This is a decisive advantage for our guests. Within two minutes they are on the train. The Swiss railway is punctual, comfortable and has a very well developed network. You can get everywhere by train, even to remote places.

By car, you can reach the A8 motorway within five minutes. A further five minutes away, you can reach the junctions for the Gotthard, Basel and Zurich.

The Guber-Haus is on the outskirts of the village. This is also an advantage, as we are integrated into the village, but not in the middle of it. From us, one is within five minutes in the local recreation area and at the water.

Most of the interesting excursion destinations can be reached from Alpnach within 10 to 40 minutes.

20% of the rental price if cancellation is made up to the 64th day prior to arrival
50% of the rental price if cancellation is made up to the 43rd day prior to arrival
80% of the rental price if cancellation is made up to the 2nd day prior to arrival
100% of the rental price if cancellation is made on the day of arrival
The cancellation costs amount to at least EUR 100.

    “Gastgeber sehr freundlich und für unsere Zwecke (vorwiegend nur zum schlafen im Haus) ausreichend. Einrichtung aber ausbau / verbesserungsfähig Positiv: Die Lage ideal für Ausflüge. Nicht direkt im Lärm von Luzern Negativ: Haus wird als Vintage Styl angepriesen. Die Realität ist aber selbst und eher schlecht gemachte Arbeiten ( Boden unsauber verlegt / Installationen halbpatzig gemacht). Zudem steht viel "Deko" => unnötiger Müll in der Wohnung.
    Vernünftige Ablagen fehlen aber zum Beispiel im Bad.”
