Located in the heart of Funchal, just a few steps away from the Municipal Market, Bakeries, Bars and Restaurants. Access to the sea around the corner and an ideal place for people that enjoy real Old Downtown. People and Life are part of it.The old town is very lively, especially on weekends and bank holidays. People are out to meet in the alleys to enjoy life.     “Wer in der ersten Nachthälfte Ruhe braucht und einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte sich eine andere Unterkunft suchen. Das Appartement liegt mitten im Stadtteil Santa Maria und ist noch bis spät in die Nacht sehr belebt. Positiv: Sehr nette Vermietung, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Negativ: Ein weiteres Handtuch zum Duschen wäre toll gewesen, dann hätten wir bei Ausstattung 5 Sterne gegeben. Beste Reisezeit: Spring - Wir waren im Juni dort und lieben lange Spaziergänge. Die Temperaturen so um die 20 Grad waren dafür ideal. Empfehlung: Couples - Für mehr als zwei bis drei Personen ist die Wohnung zu klein.”

    “Sehr zu empfehlen, besonders wenn man abends noch Funchal geniessen möchte und ohne Auto unterwegs ist (für Tagesausflüge gibt es ganz in der Nähe eine einheimische Autovermietung). Positiv: Die zentrale Lage in Funchal, in 5 min zu Fuss zum Meer, Restaurants, Läden, Bäckerei, Innenstadt, Sehenswürdigkeiten...
    Sehr zuvorkommende und zuverlässige Gastgeberin, die uns Babybett, Hochstuhl und Buggy für unsere einjährige Tochter zur Verfügung gestellt und gute Tipps gegeben hat. Negativ: Am Wochenende etwas laut (Nähe zu Restaurants/ Clubs etc), daher mit (Klein-)Kind eher nicht so geeignet.
    Aufgrund der Lage wenig Sonnenlicht (was im Sommer auch ein Vorteil sein kann).”
