Located 15 minutes from the airport, right downtown, in one of Lisbon's most alternative and trendy neighbourhoods. It has an edge that appeals to designers, musicians and artists. It also has many of the coolest new bars and cafés of the city. You’ll find plenty of skaters and street artists hanging around or practising at the main square, which is often a stage for dance groups to perform and other random moments. Make sure to check out A Vida Portuguesa, said to be the most beautiful shop in Lisbon. It will provide you with a world of traditional Portuguese products and art, and at the hip Casa independent you'll dance the night away to the sound of local artists or enjoy a drink with live music any day of the week. You'll also love the charming vintage shops and Lisbon's famous flea market which covers several blocks. All this is walking distance from the flat, but if you wish to see the rest of Lisbon's tourist attractions, just hop on tram 28 or the metro across the street.
