All-round well-being - that's what the "Ferienhaus Arne" in Steinheid, a district of Neuhaus am Rennweg, stands for. Here on the ridge of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, the vacation home, renovated in 2019, awaits you in the midst of the picturesque landscape of the Thuringian Forest.

On two floors you can expect a comfortable equipment in the house Arne with adventure bathroom on the first floor. Here you will find pure relaxation in the steam bath or in the luxurious whirlpool tub. After an extensive bath, you will find an ideal resting place on the spacious couch in front of the smart TV in the neighboring living room. In the other part of the large, open space is the elegant and comfortably equipped kitchenette. The open natural plot will be converted into an enclosed garden from about summer 2020.

The upper floor offers three bedrooms. In bedroom 3 there is an additional sofa bed as an alternative option for sleeping. Whether extended family with grandma and grandpa or a group of friends, here everyone has enough space. In the quiet hours of the day you can hear the gentle rustle of the typical slate-covered facade.

Steinheid is the starting point to many famous hiking destinations around the Rennsteig. Not only on foot but also for mountain bikers there is an extensive network of trails. For the sporty ambitious cyclist the Rennsteig cycle path offers rewarding views. Steinheid is a snow-sure place in winter. The well-known ski arena Silbersattel is only 7km away and is Thuringia's largest alpine skiing area. Whether rapid downhill skiing or cross-country skiing in the beautiful Thuringian Forest ? the 4.5 kilometers of slopes on 8 routes with all degrees of difficulty, children's land, freeride area and 35 km of cross-country trails and ski trails make the heart of every active sportsman beat faster.

Also as a starting point for day trips, the nearby Oberhof or the cities of Erfurt, Weimar, Jena and Coburg offer a variety of attractions.
