Villa Elena is situated in the heart of Tuscany at southeast of Florence (reachable in a half a hour driving and 25 minutes by train) among the most beautiful areas like Chianti Classico, Val d’Ambra, Casentino National Park, Chianti Rufina and Valdarno. Siena and Arezzo too are within easy reach either by the scenic country route or the Autostrada del Sole. The villa has been extremely well renovated and provides the most fabulous, spacious site for a perfect holiday. It is an expansive house providing high standard of accommodation. Tasteful furnishing blend beautifully with the Tuscan arches and typical ceiling with exposed beams. Outside a wonderful garden with a 10 X 5 swimming pool and a patio for “dining al fresco” during the summer. Villa Elena is ideal for an extended family or group of friends who want to enjoy each other’s company in perfect privacy. Pool available from April 18th to October 31st.For stays of more than one week there is an additional cost for changing linen and weekly cleaning

    “La piscine est très éloignée de la maison et est entourée par un bloc de haies très hautes et non taillées comme sur les photos. Elle n’est pas bien entretenue et nous avons été infestés terriblement par les taons, et guêpes… ce qui est apparemment connu dans la région . Ce qu’il faut savoir c’est qu’il y a un ruisseau juste derrière la haie.. c’est donc vraiment très désagréable.. Par rapport aux équipements de la maison, il n’y a du wifi que principalement dans le living. Donc pas dehors sur la terrasse ni à la piscine, ni dans les chambres. Attention il n’y a aucun réseau pour téléphone mobile. Il y avait une tv satellite mais aucune chaîne française. Dans la partie annexe, il y a un sauna avec un bassin d’eau. La pièce dégage une forte odeur d’humidité. D’ailleurs dans l’annonce de tui, on ne précise pas que cette annexe ne fait pas partie de la location. Ce n’était pas clair du tout. La propriétaire nous a dit à l’arrivée que le prix était différent avec la location. Les photos sont trompeuses car les photos de l’annexe sont mélangées à celle de la maison principale et donc difficile à comprendre.
