Very close to nature you will find this beautiful cottage located on the cottage area Rajekollen.

Here you can relax and listen to the silence of the forest. The surrounding area is an Eldorado for nature lovers with many flowers and plants. In 1938 the orchid "Så Stermarihand" was found here on the beach of Raje. Right in front of the door there are good hiking possibilities all year round. In the wintertime, groomed cross-country ski trails pass by the property. Raje is surrounded by vast, unspoiled forest and mountain areas, including the nature reserve Skrim and Sauheradfjell on 123,000 hectares. A mountain hike to "Styggemann" 872 meters above sea level or "Skrimtoppen" 859 meters above sea level are recommended.

For those who like fishing, there are many great fishing waters nearby. There are also good swimming facilities with a sandy beach and floating jetty, a popular place on hot summer days. Not far away is the exciting technology town of Kongsberg with a lot of history and sights. Visit the Kongsberg Silver Works and the Norwegian Mining Museum, improve your handicap at the Kongsberg Golf Course and learn about local culture & history at the Lågdalsmuseum.

Note: There is a toll road leading to the cottage; fee per passage. Bring your own firewood and lighters.
