Vacation home in idyllic location close to the sea, in the "sailing ship town" Skudeneshavn. You can enjoy the long, bright summer days in the beautiful conservatory, in the garden or on the large terraces. Not far from the cottage is Hålandsvågen with good swimming and fishing. The boat is moored in the marina, which can be reached quickly by car; or you can walk the distance. The area is also good for cycling or hiking through friendly terrain. There are several good viewpoints here. In Skudeneshavn Old Town you can stroll through narrow streets and alleys, looking at the pretty wooden houses. Also visit Åkrahamn and Åkrasanden; the latter once voted Norway's most beautiful sandy beach. For families with children, we recommend the zoo in Torvastad. Those interested in history may like to visit the Viking farm and the medieval stone church in Avaldsnes. Not far away you will find the festival town of Haugesund with pedestrian streets, restaurants by the sea and a number of cultural events. From the cottage you can also make a day trip to Stavanger.
