Mountain cabin in quiet cabin field at Maurset, the gate to Hardangervidda. During the summer, the area offers fantastic hiking opportunities and fishing opportunities in mountain lakes with a lot of trout in Hardangervidda National Park. Trips to Dyranut and Kjeldebu are suitable for the whole family in beautiful natural surroundings. Hardangerjøkulen glacier is also a popular hiking destination between Eidfjord and Ulvik. In the winter you can enjoy days in Syssendalen ski center and in prepared cross-country trails close to the cabin. Visit spectacular Vøringsfossen waterfall, Eidfjord, the adventure center Flath earth adventures, Mikkelparken, Folgefonna and Trolltunga from the cabin.
