Throughout the summer, the resort town of Marielyst is an ideal destination for those who enjoy life in the great outdoors. The long, white sandy beach is known as one of the best in Denmark and is an ideal spot for sunbathing and activities. Here, you can take a short diving course before diving down to an old shipwreck at the bottom of the sea. Make the most of the warm summer evenings by taking a stroll on the flower-clad dikes, which offer a romantic view out to the Baltic Sea. Close to the centre of Marielyst can be found a wide choice of museums and galleries as well as glass blowing and ceramic workshops, making this an excellent place to find arts and crafts at bargain prices.
