A few kilometres from the centre of Haderslev is the 100-hectare Deer Park, home to various species of deer as well as hares, badgers, foxes, squirrels and a rich variety of bird life. Popular activities include sailing on this 12 kilometre-long Haderslev Fjord, which provides you with an excellent opportunity to observe the fascinating interplay between water and land and flora and fauna at close quarters.

    “Uns hat es wunderbar gefallen, obwohl das Wetter uns etwas im Stich gelassen hat. Das Haus ist unserer Meinung nach ein typisches altes dänisches Sommerhaus im schönen Schwedenrot über zwei Etagen. Innen ist alles aus Holz, mit Kaminofen, einfach sehr gemütlich.

    Draußen gibt es eine Feuerstelle und Grill, also alles da, was man für einen Sommerabend gern hätte. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und bis zum Wasser sind es vielleicht 150 m. Wir sind jeden Morgen in Badesachen zum Schwimmen gegangen. Das Haus ist für 6 Personen vorgesehen, dann ist es vielleicht ein bißchen eng, wir waren zu viert, da hatten wir genug Platz. Jedes Kind hatte sein eigenes Zimmer und da unsere schon groß sind, war das sehr angenehm. WLAN ist auch da, was für Teenies ja von besonderer Bedeutung ist. Einen deutschen Sender haben wir nicht geschafft im Fernseher einzustellen, hat uns aber nicht gestört.

    Mit der Ausstattung waren wir sehr zufrieden. Es gibt auch Kinderbett und Kinderstühlchen, allerdings keine Wickelkommode. Das ist für Familien mit Baby vielleicht etwas ungünstig, wenn man etwas gegen Wickeln auf dem Fußboden oder Bett hat. Die Treppe ins Obergeschoss mit den Schlafzimmern ist sehr steil, wer damit Probleme hat, sollte vielleicht lieber etwas ebenerdiges buchen.

    Sehr schön ist das Frühstücken auf dem Balkon, am späteren Nachmittag hat man auf dieser Seite dann leider keine Sonne mehr, dafür aber vor dem Haus (Grill). Rundum stehen alte Buchen, die im Wind rauschen, sehr angenehm, doch manchmal verwirrt einen das, weil man denkt, es regnet. Wer einen ruhigen Familienurlaub machen will, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig.”
