This attractive holiday home overlooks the calm Limfjord and is only 20 km from the North Sea. With its child-friendly beach and facilities for ball games and petanque, the area is highly popular with holidaymakers and windsurfers. The vibrant market town of Thisted is within easy reach, and buzzes with activity during the summer months. Attractions include sailing trips on wooden boats, seal safaris, and exhibitions and activities at Thisted Museum. Thisted's many carefully renovated buildings have previously led to the town being awarded the Europa Nostra prize. The bustling and attractively-located fishing port of Hanstholm is also well worth a visit. The Museum Centre at Hanstholm gives a unique insight into the largest fortification in northern Europe during World War II, 'Atlantvolden' (the Atlantic Wall). Finally, the amusement park at Jesperhus Flowerpark on the island of Mors is a firm favourite with children.
