One side of the garden offers a beautiful view. Fishing enthusiasts can catch the best sea trout on the coast. The nearest major town is Kerteminde, which charms with its narrow streets, cute houses with red tile roofs and spacious traditional merchants’ houses. Do visit the Fjord & Bælt Adventure Centre and explore the underwater life, which is home to porpoises and playful seals. Also worth visiting are the Johannes Larsen Museum (Danish nature painter), Høkeren (museum shop) and Den gl. Møllestub, a historical museum that has celebrities displayed in the form of dolls.
