The property is beautifully situated in the protected nature reserve. From the house you walk or cycle in nature. Nice towns are nearby, such as Frankenberg, Korbach, Winteerberg and Willungen. The house is spacious, clean and well maintained. From the house you walk into the National Park Kellerwald-Edersee free of charge. The Kellerwald is more than 60 km2 and protected by UNESCO. Beautiful walks have been set out. The Park is suitable for mountain bike tours.



For 5 to 9 people a spacious holiday home, consisting of two separate apartments. For the family, reunion or larger families. Each apartment has a spacious living room, kitchen with fridge, oven and microwave and wood stove. New bathroom with shower. Spacious bedrooms and closets. Equipped with good beds for a good night's sleep. Opening doors to a large garden. A lot of privacy and peace. A wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful forests, atmospheric villages and towns in the neighborhood. Many trips, also for the children. There is a TV, DVD and radio player. You can use the large garden and the picnic table next to Ferienhaus Frankenau or from the balcony on sunny south-west. With more than 8 adults, the caretaker can place two emergency beds.



This beautiful holiday region Kellerwald Edersee is about 3.5 hours drive from Utrecht. Ferienhaus Frankenau has several private parking spaces in front of the door. There is a bus stop on the holiday village. You will receive our tips for the journey and cheap refueling after your reservation.

You pay the overnight stays and the deposit to Atraveo, TUI or E-Domizil. Electricity will be deducted from the deposit in winter. The caretaker will take the meter readings with you on arrival and on departure. Electricity costs depend on your heating behavior. You can bring your own sheets, pillowcases and towels or sleeping bag with you, or order them later from the caretaker. Costs for towels and bed linen on the spot to the caretaker. You are obliged to provide us with your home address before arrival. The caretaker may visit the holiday home to check whether the specified number of guests is correct.

Bedlinen, pillowcases, sheets, towels and kitchen towels can be brought with you. Our caretaker can prepare clean pillowcases, sheets and towels for you. Our caretaker charges per person package and you can settle with him. Before your arrival, let us know what your requirements are. The key to Ferienhaus is located in a key safe next to the front door. You will receive the code from the key safe after the reservation is final. You will also receive all tourist information, shops and restaurants. After leaving you leave the key in this locker. We have a very nice caretaker who takes the meter readings with you. With my wife I rent our two holiday homes in the beautiful Sauerland near the town Frankenau. We live in Alphen aan de Rijn ourselves and regularly visit this nature reserve. From the house you walk into the nature park Kellerwald. Water sports, fishing and boating, we practice in the Edersee. Winter sports in Winterberg. For children there are nearby trips, such as a riding school, karting, a petting zoo and zoos. We keep the apartments neatly for our guests and we look for matching neat tenants.

    “Das Ferienhaus besteht aus zwei Wohnungen. Beide wurden zusammen angeboten u vermietet. Die untere empfand ich als sauber und modern eingerichtet. Leider fehlten bei der oberen auch ein paar Küchenutensilien. Ansonsten waren die Wohnung praktisch, zweckmäßig und schön eingerichtet. Am Haus war eine Terrasse mit Sitzmöbel u Grill. Kohle musste man selbst holen. Brötchen entweder aufbacken oder im Dorf kaufen. Freizeitangebote gab es im Dorf keine. Linienbus war erreichbar. In der nächsten Stadt Frankenberg gab es ein Freibad. Wanderwege fingen in der nächsten Ecke an. Ich würde mir noch wünschen, das die Terrasse repariert wird, dann hat sich mein Sohn ein Splitter zugezogen. Der Hausmeister ist ein guter u freundlicher Ansprechpartner.”

    “Hallo Liebe Simone, unten haben wir ein neues Terrasse und oben haben wir viel Arbeit gemacht um das Balkon zu reparieren. Jetzt ist das Balkon auch oben fertig. OG haben wir ein wand modernisiert und blauw gestrichen. Und Marja versucht im OG alle Küchenutensilien wieder ins Haus zu bringen. Die Gäste bringen die Utilisien manchmal von oben nach unten um mit einander zu Essen. Vielen Dank für Ihren Besuch und bis bald, LG Han und Marja.”
