This luxury contemporary villa in Garajau, designed and equipped to the highest specification, sits on the cliff edge and will appeal to the most discerning client. Unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal, spacious and with elevator and central air-conditioning it is only a 5 minute walk to a number of excellent restaurants, bars and cafes, fruit and vegetable shop and branded supermarkets. A truly great choice for villas in Madeira, in a superb location, only a 10 minute drive away from Funchal.

The huge open plan living/dining with double height ceiling with two seating areas, L-shaped sofas and comfortable armchairs, bar, 8-seat dining tahble and wall to wall glass opens out onto the south facing terrace where you will find the swimming pool and outdoor seating and dining. There is a bar area and feature fireplace with seating area beyond.
The south facing solarium is certainly the place of choice to spend your days, being private and featuring outdoor furniture and dining and direct view over the sea.

The luxuriously equipped kitchen has everything you could want including a breakfast table and alos leads to the pool deck.

All four bedrooms are on the first floor (two with en-suites), and all are air-conditioned. The Master bedroom is particularly spacious and includes an additonal seating/dressing area.
The games room with PlayStation 4 is also on this level.

Swimming pool heating:
Pool heating is optional and costs 120,00€ per week for 24ºC, paid in cash on arrival.
A supplement of 30,00€ per week applies for each additional degree up to a maximum of 26ºC
Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Nearby
The local shopping area of Garajau is only a few minutes walk away under 200m). There you have all a choice of restaurants for snacks and dinner, one of the best bakeries on the island and aa fresh fruit and vegetable store. 300m brings you to 2 large supermarkets, pharmacy, newsagent and a bank with ATM.
The village of Caniço is a couple of kilometres along the coastline, with a further selection of restaurants and bars, shopping centre and church square. Caniço de Baixo, at sea level has a lovely promenade and is a popular choice with the locals at the weekend.
The cosmopolitan city of Funchal with its fruit & vegetable market, fish Market (the best morning to visit is Friday), marina and harbour, theatre, shops and restaurants is only 10 minutes by car.

Madeira

Booking notes
The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card up to 48h before your check-in.

Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.
