Heyward Mews Holiday Homes are a cluster of modern courtyard holiday homes 5km from Dublin Airport and only 15km from Dublin City Centre. While staying at our holiday accommodation in Swords you are ideally placed to explore Dublin City and the surrounding counties of Wicklow and Meath.

The nearby town of Swords has all the amenities of a thriving Dublin suburb, with an array of shops, bars and restaurants.

- Swords Castle which dates from the 1200’s has been lovingly restored and takes centre stage in this bustling town. The castle was used in recent times as a location for the TV series The Tudors in 2010.

- Trinity College and the Book of Kells

- Kilmainham Gaol

- Shopping in Grafton Street or Powerscourt Townhouse

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.



2. Security Deposit:

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.



4. Towels:

Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).



5. Public Transport:

We do recommend that you have your own transport to explore Dublin city and the surrounding counties, as the closest bus stop is 3km away.

60% of the rental price if cancellation is made up to the 28th day prior to arrival

    “We stayed for two weeks in the house and it's a very nice, safe and quit place. A green country place from where you can drive with in 20 minutes to take a visit to Dublin, Malahide, Trim castle or to Tayto Park. And if you like to drive a little bit further on, you must see the beautiful Wicklow mountains.The house is clean and comfort and enough place for a family of 6 persons. It's easy to have a kitchen and a washmacine and every room has it own bath or shower and a toilet too. The host is very friendly and if you want anything to know about the house, just ask. For us it was perfect; if you like comfort it's very good, if you like luxery then you might take a hotel.”
