Holiday Apartment in Laboe with Private Parking

Owing to the high salt content of the sea air, Laboe is known for its mild and beneficial climate, which you can feel when you breathe in.

The holiday apartment was extensively renovated in 2017/18 and newly furnished. It is flooded with daylight and is on the first floor of a two-family house. It consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen. The first parents’ bedroom has a double bed (200 x 200cm), while the children’s bedroom has a single bed (200 x 90cm) and an optional extra folding bed (ca. 80 x 190cm). The light living room provides a suite where a further two guests can sleep. The modernised bathroom has a toilet, shower and bath. The modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday, including a modern ceramic hob with an oven, a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, crockery and various cooking utensils.

There is a north-facing balcony next to the parents’ bedroom, from which you can see the Kieler Förde, and a south-facing loggia with garden furniture by the living room, inviting you to relax on sunny days. The site is fenced and therefore also suitable for children, with a Wendy house, sandpit, swings (for children under 12 years old). There are two car parking spaces.

The Baltic Seat town Laboe is a popular trip and holiday destination and its harbour is considered one of the most beautiful on the Kieler Förde, as a popular gathering place for sailing enthusiasts. Laboe is in a unique location as the outermost locality on the sunny side of Kieler Förde, the wester gateway to the Probstei. Laboe greets all those coming from the sea with its characteristic skyline. Laboe features plenty of greenery, despite 5500 inhabitants and lively building activity since the 1970s. It is a popular tourist destination in the Probstei natural area. The unique nature and landscape right by the exit to Kieler Bucht, the proximity to the North-Baltic Sea Canal, the natural dunes landscape or the marine biology station with boat excursions on the Baltic Sea offer a wide range of views and insights all year round. Since 1972, the Technical Museum has been offering close experiences of life in a submarine in the middle of the previous century. Laboe is not only a popular trip destination, but also a sought-after residential area. The marine biology station is an exciting experience for all ages. Marine biology knowledge is conveyed in over 30 aquaria. Children can experience the sea world close up, as you can feed a lobster or hold a live crab. Additional attractions on land: minigolf, several children’s playgrounds, library, youth centre, cycling, beach sports, walking, motorbike tours, seawater swimming pool, submarine U995, and sometimes a big trampoline on the beach. And on the water: high sea fishing, harbour tour, MS Gefion, MS Baluort, MS Feodora, speed boat.
