This vacation home (semi-detached) is located at 600 m altitude at a small borgo above Cortona (18 km). The semi-detached house has a large private terrace with valley view ? the separate pool area is about 70 m below, also with large sun terrace and seating (shared with ITA227). From the terrace you enter directly into the kitchen-living room, a narrow wooden staircase leads to the 1st floor, which can also be reached via an external staircase. From the cozy living room with fireplace there is another side exit to the outside. The old farmhouse has been restored in rustic style and tastefully furnished. Baby crib on request. The family of the owners lives in a neighboring house in the borgo and is available to help and advise guests if needed. The entire outdoor area is fenced and surrounded by hilly woods. In about 2 km there is a small ristorante (see also ITA262/ITA263). This vacation home is suitable for families who enjoy a quiet location, fresh air and lots of nature. Excursions can be started from here on foot , by bike or by car in two directions: on the western side is the worth seeing Etruscan town of Cortona with stores of all kinds, restaurants, museums, art galleries and sophisticated life; a little further away Montepulciano (40km), Pienza (50km), Arezzo (50km) or Lake Trasimeno (35km). To the east you will find the Umbrian towns of Città di Castello (35km), Gubbio (50km), Perugia and Assisi (about 60km). And if the choice is too hard for you, you can simply stay in your little paradise on site. The owner will be happy to cook local dishes for her guests on request.
