This new, comfortable holiday house is surrounded by a large wooden terrace on both the sides. The beach in Gudmindrup with fine sand and large dunes is the most beautiful beach in the Bay of Sejerø. An international golf course and a Pay-and-Play ground are at a short distance away. Fishing in the sea and the Put-and-take lakes is worth the money for anglers. Explore the beautiful, untouched nature by walking or cycling. The ice age landscape is crucial for the very presence of Odsherred. This is the reason for it to be a geo park. You can go on a trip to the burial mounds street to experience the glacial landscape, the megalithic tombs of the stone age and the grave mounds of the bronze age. You can also visit the remains in Ulkerup, Hempel Glass Museum and Odsherred Museum, which has a model of the sun chariot, found in swamp Trundholm Mose and pocket stones which is a geological wonder. The castle of Naesholm Borg is situated in the small island in Lake Nygard So and in between Hojby and Nykobing Sjælland. You can learn to fish in the nature school located here and enjoy expeditions into the forest, butterfly safaris, troll and fox safaris. Hovvig Nature Reserve is a developed marshland with rich bird life. Gronnehaveskoven Forest has fitness trails and a dog forest. The spring of Thorskilde provides a magical touch to the Kongeengen Meadows. You can go on a tour behind the walls of an old psychiatric hospital with a lively guide. People who love hiking can take the following trips. Sea, sand and wind - 16.2 km long, the water birds - 8 km or the coastal culture - 7.5 km. Children will be excited to visit the fire museum in Odsherred with several fire-fighters’ vehicles. Take a trip to the harbour of Rorvig and go on seal safaris. Go shopping in Nykøbing Sjælland, which has a nice pedestrian zone, supermarkets and cafes. A cosy atmosphere, a fish smoke house with an attached restaurant and the ferry service to North Zealand await your arrival in the harbour of Rørvig. You can enjoy smoked fish while your children catch crabs on the pier.
