This apartment is located close to the bustling metropolis of Berlin and yet in a much quieter place, by the Scharmützelsee in Wendisch-Rietz. Those who desire rest and relaxation will find peace here, while there are ample possibilities for lively holidaymakers. The immediate surroundings offer exclusive possibilities alongside the wonderful beauty of nature. Riding stables, marinas and tennis courts make sure that there is no dearth of possibilities here. The spacious Saarower Therme and the golf course welcome you to swimming and putting on a well-kept green. This exclusive beautiful thatched cottage is near the beach. The house is comfortably furnished and will particularly impress the most discerning holidaymaker. Enjoy a relaxing holiday even during inclement weather - relax in the sauna and hot tub or have a glass of wine by the fireplace. Mosquito repellents / gauze windows are provided in the house. In 1240 there was a settlement in Brandenburg called Wendisch Rietz. Mention of this is made in the 1241 documentary that also mentions the Church of Dahmsdorf. The place itself was first mentioned in 1376. Slavs had once settled here, giving the city its name. The name comes from Slavic Rietz Windiszchin Riecz (German trench or flow). Other important things in Wendisch Rietz are the water mill, and a medieval village from the Middle Ages of Deutschn. Traces of settlement remain from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. Wendisch-Rietz is idyllically situated amidst other lakes (Lake Storkow, Glubigsee, and Springsee) and a large forest. It is an ideal starting point for rafting and boating. Storkow is about 10 km away. While you pass through the channel, you can plan a trip to Berlin too. You can drive towards Bad Saarow which is about 10 km away.
