Welcome to 'Oyan-zain-baita'. The owners Steffen and Susana, a German-Spanish couple, look forward to welcoming you to their renovated and typical farmhouse. The house and the barn was made into 4 comfortable holiday apartments, comes from the 18th century. You will find plenty of information in our site baskenreisen.

It is a great location to meet the basque culture in France and in Spain. You can discover very typical villages like Ascain, Ainhoa, Sare or the picturesque city of Saint Jean de Luz. The whale fishers went to sea here hundreds of years ago. You will love the food, the traditions and the unique architecture embedded in a great nature.
his very nice and comfortable apartment Ganbara means like granary and is the flat in the 1st residential floor.

The access of the apartment is via a staircase and the balcony to the entrance door. The apartment does have an orientation to the south and spoils with sun and views to the highest mountain in the area to the mystic la rhune.

The living room does have the character like a mansard, the main beam are visible and very well refurbished. At the same time we took care for having an aesthetic break down of the rooms and a modern furnishing. With a very bright living room and free view of the mountains and a generous balcony the holidays become a perfect pleasure.

The isolation, the doors and windows are up to date. The floor is an high quality laminate, in the bathroom we do have a tone flagging.
Two glass doors to the balcony, and two additional windows are giving the living room with the integratet kitchen plenty of ligth.

You do have great views to the green environment and the mountains. The modern kitchen is perfect eqipped and does have also nice views. In the back of the apartment there are the two comfortabe sleeping rooms with nice views as well.

Like all our flats, also the apartment Ganbara does have a separate access and the possibility for enough privacy.
