Beautiful House in Barbis with Terrace, Barbecue and Garden and Unique View

Our holiday house is on the “Bühberg”, exclusively with wooden houses (about 120) in a Harz cabin style, exuding an immediate holiday flair. Behind the settlement you can only find forests and meadows as far as the eye can see. If there is a requirement for a group of up to 9 people, our house right opposite can be booked in addition if available, which can also be found on this portal.Cabin classified as 5-star, in a beautiful location with a unique view into the distance, with a fireplace, an outdoor sauna and a roofed terrace

The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a balcony room, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen. The interior is new and modern, but still cosy. Everything, including the kitchen, the whole furnishing and the outdoor area, has been renovated. . A fireplace, Wi-Fi and a safe (up to 15” laptop) are provided. All the bedrooms and the living room each have a pivoting Full HD 40“ Smart TV.

Outside you can find a garage and a roofed terrace with chairs and stools for 8 people. The outdoor area has been attractively designed with granite stairs and high-quality terrace flooring. There is also a barrel sauna in the garden, providing 4-5 people with wellness and relaxation, as well as being an eye-catching feature and affording an unforgettable view of the mountains.

The house is non-smoking. Pets are allowed, but note that they are not allowed on the sofa and in the beds. If beds/sofa/bed line are soiled or have dog hair on them, we will be forced to charge an additional cleaning fee. Please bring your own dog blankets and towels. The house was classified as five-star by the DTV in February 2017. The unique and beautiful view of the valley landscape around the Scharzfeld stone church convinced us to purchase this beautiful house and to convert it for holiday-makers. We totally gutted and renovated this gem throughout many months of detailed work, creating a beautiful property that is second to none.

From Barbis, you can enjoy great holiday activities within 50km. Nearby in Bad Lauterberg there is the Vitamar waves swimming pool, as well as a wide range of shops on Lauterberger Boulevard. St. Andreasberg offers you the summer luge and in winter the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg ski resort, as well as a climbing park. In the whole of the Harz area there are lovely hiking trails and much more. We have gathered plenty of information material for you.

    “Bij de douche was er vaak sprake van “wateroverlast”, water liep door over de vloer van de badkamer boven. Matje te dik/hoog voor openen van deuren werd meegesleept en hiep daarbij niet echt.
    Lage wasbak, niet handig voor de langere mens. Positiv: Ligging, uitzicht en rustige omgeving. Negativ: Er is binnen, met name de woonkamer/eethoek erg weinig bewegingsruimte. Lage plafonds/deur openingen.”

    “Grundsätzlich ist es ein wirklich schönes Ferienhaus, was auch sehr nett von den Vermietern eingerichtet wurde. Die Aufteilung ist auch sehr schön. Dennoch sollte bei der Sauberkeit mehr darauf geachtet werden, dass richtig gereinigt wird. Gegenstände wie Duscharmaturen sollten ebenfalls regelmäßig gereinigt werden und auf ihre Funktionalität geprüft werden.
    Wir waren mit zwei Hunden da. Denen hat’s sehr gefallen und es gab auch eine kleine Überraschung für die Tiere. Positiv: Die Lage ist wirklich wunderschön. Sehr ruhig. Man hat viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Spazieren gehen. Negativ: Auf dem ersten Blick hat das Haus einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Beim Auspacken ist uns dann immer mehr aufgefallen, dass der erste Eindruck leider getäuscht hat. Gerade was das Thema Sauberkeit angeht. In vielen Ecken Spinnweben und Staub. Ein Schlafzimmer und Bad befinden sich im Keller. Der Keller hat schon sehr gemüffelt. Viele Gegenstände sind sehr abgewohnt. Da kann man schon mal erwarten, dass bspw. Armaturen im Bad getauscht werden (Halterung der Duschbrause defekt). Auch das zweite Bad hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die Sauna war leider nicht mehr im besten Zustand. Undicht, die Tür muss man von innen abschließen, damit sie zu bleibt.”

    “Positiv: Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, war bei Problemen sofort präsent.
    Raumaufteilung war genial. Ausstattung sehr gut. Restaurant: Waldgaststätte Kuhstall liegt zwischen Braunlage und St. Andreasberg - Liegt mitten im Wald, sehr freundliches Personal, Ausstattung super, ein sehr romantischer Biergarten Ausflüge: Wurmberg - Wanderwege von Braunlage zum Wurmberg, Wasserläufe folgen, Fußmarsch von ca. 7,5 km, Liftanlage vorhanden”
