Due to its unique location, the island of Bornholm receives, on an average, more sunshine than the rest of Denmark. You willl always find shelter from the wind, in the dunes and cliffs on the beautiful beaches. There are many beaches within easy reach that you can visit as per your choice. The island of Bornholm is also ideal for children who will love the amusement park JOBO-Land. Here you can go swimming and climbing or see the Jobos, the subterranean creatures, in their caves. In the interpretive centre NaturBornholm, you can travel back in time, while in the Butterfly and Tropical Park, you can admire the exotic flowers, plants, birds and more than 1,000 different varieties of butterflies flying around freely.
