Inviting apartment on the second floor of a building in one of the most famous streets of Genoa, just steps from the heart of the city. Take advantage of this excellent starting point to visit the second largest aquarium in Europe, the Old Port with the creations of Renzo Piano, the Maritime Museum and the Galleon built for Roman Polanski's film "Pirates? Not to forget the characteristic streets of the beautiful old town. Just a few minutes walk away is the Spianata Castelletto with a splendid view over the roofs of the city. A pleasant walk along cobbled paths and among elegant stores will take you to the Columbus House, just 1 km away. Numerous art exhibitions are held throughout the year at the Palazzo Ducale, and the local markets and concerts in the squares are also interesting. The exhibition Dialogo nel Buio (Dialogue in the Dark), in the area of the Old Port, offers a unique journey of the senses: real situations are reproduced in complete darkness, for which a ?different way of seeing? is to be learned. Guided tours of local markets and cooking classes offered by the region allow you to taste the typical local products. Thanks to the convenient location near the train station (1500 m) you can reach all the main tourist centers and seaside resorts of the Riviera. There is also the possibility of hiking in the underground Genova, whale-watching, boat connection to Camogli, Portofino and the Cinque Terre, excursions inland to discover the flavors of Liguria, which offers an excellent extra virgin olive oil, the typical pesto with good basil, the farinata (thin flat bread made with chickpea flour) and the focaccia (local bread with oil and lard). On request and for a fee, the following additional services are available: family excursions with tastings in Genoa, excursions to Cinque Terre, Riviera di Levante, Portofino and San Fruttuoso, urban trekking in Genoa or naturalistic excursions to Cinque Terre and Portofino, excursions to Noli and Finalborgo, horseback riding, boat excursions, food personal shopper, private transfer, motorboat and rubber dinghy rental, car rental or private driver.
