Enjoy a wonderful sea view, nature and peace and quiet at this traditional country houseThis detached holiday house is between Mikro Nisi and Ano Volimes 230 metres above sea level. The country house is in the north of the island, away from the mass tourism of the Mikro Nisi area. Zakynthos is a green gem with impressive vegetation, the famous shipwreck beach and the nesting areas of the Caretta sea turtle.With around 110m² of living space, the house provides plenty of space for a maximum of four people. It is tiled and simple, but very tastefully furnished. The house has a living room, a dining room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen equipped with an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a stove, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee machine. The two bedrooms are each furnished with a kingsize bed (160cm wide). The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, WC and washing machine. There is an additional toilet in the utility room. The owner can provide a highchair, cot, children’s toys, board games for all ages free of charge. All the rooms have heating and free Wi-Fi.The outdoor area on the 2000m² site has a beautiful garden with olive and almond trees, from which you can enjoy a fabulous sea view. There is also a terrace. There are two free private outdoor car parking spaces. Pets are allowed on request.The nearest beach is a five-minute drive away. The traditional artisan village Ano Volimes is also nearby, along with the harbour village Agios Nikolaos and the Makris Giaolos beach. The long beach in Alykes (20 minutes by car) is ideal for children and offers a range of water sports. You can go riding in Alykanas (20-minute drive). The animal park in Askos (10-minute drive) is home to many animals. In the south of the island there are the nesting sites of the Caretta sea turtles. You can buy basic groceries from the neighbour. There are good tavernas and little supermarkets in the neighbouring villages.
