Brand new villa “Stone and Green” with swimming pool is located at Georgioupolis village, 27 kilometers from Rethymno. Within a walking distance of 3 km there is the sandy beach of Georgioupolis, a very cozy place for summer relaxation in Crete. The property is 500 square meters and the villa is 120 square meters. The swimming pool has a children’s corner, sun loungers and sun beds are also provided. “Stone and Green” villa can accommodate up to 5 people in its three bedrooms: one twin bedroom, one single bedroom and one double bedroom WC (with no shower) and WC/bathroom. You can have fun at the hydro massage cabin in the villa. Moreover there is a fully equipped kitchen with all modern comforts such as oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, blender etc… coffee and sugar are available aswell. The stylish and beautifully decorated living room has a fireplace, big screen HDTV with satellite cable, dvd player, WIFI and air condition. While seating at the balcony on the first floor you can enjoy sea and landscape views. The villa has a safe on master bedroom and there is a barbeque area with dining table outside. Close to the villa one can find a mini market for house supplies and more, and there is a tavern 500 meters from the house named Tzorias for enjoyable Cretan cuisine meals. Check out is 11:00 latest and check in is 15:00 earliest. -Check in and check out can be made without person to person contact (upon request)

Georgioupolis is a popular vacation resort with a great long beach (it goes for several Km) and an idyllic harbor with little fishing boats at the north coast of the island, between the cities of Chania and Rethymnon (35 km from Chania, 25 km from Rethimnon). A fishing village up to 1990 or so, it was discovered and has been transformed into a popular holiday destination over the past 15 years, without losing its original charm and tranquility.

    “Ausstattung: Alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, einzig Schneideunterlagen und scharfe Messer fehlten, ansonsten TOP
    Lage: Sehr abgelegen - einerseits gut, weil man fernab des Ferienort-Trubels Erholung finden kann, andererseits ist ein Mietwagen hier ein MUSS. Es sind zwar nur ca. 3 km (Luftlinie) bis zum Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aber die haben es in sich (steil, eng, gefährlich für Fußgänger). Navi für Anfahrt Dringend empfohlen. Die Beschreibung zur Anfahrt war leider völlig wertlos, wenn man ortsunkundig ist. Wir wurden vom Vermieter ab einem vereinbarten Treffpunkt begleitet. Ohne diese Hilfe würden wir noch nach der Villa suchen ;-) Für Ausflüge nach Chania, Rethymno oder gar Balos sind Fahrtzeiten zwischen 40 Minuten und 1,5 Stunden anzusetzen. Für einen Trip nach Vai sind 3,5 Stunden für die einfache Strecke einzuplanen. Im Ort gibt es gute Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Sandstrand erstreckt sich über 10 km entlang der Bucht und ist über diverse Zufahrten einfach zu erreichen. Ein Stück entlang der National Road Richtung Osten gibt es weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und freien Zugang zum Sand-Strand (ansonsten gehören weite Abschnitte zu den Hotelanlagen und die Nutzung der Liegen ist dort naturgemäß kostenpflichtig).
    Zustand: Top - neues Haus alles in gutem baulichen Zustand. Einzig die Türen der Schlafzimmer waren verzogen und schwergängig, was zu einer gewissen Geräuschentwicklung beim Öffnen und Schließen führte. Die Dusche im Obergeschoss ist eine "Fehlkonstruktion" zu eng und das Wasser wird genau in die Fugen der Schiebetüren gespritzt, so dass das Badezimmer nach jeder Benutzung mehr oder weniger unter Wasser stand. Man muss also jede Menge Tücher für die Bodenreinigung einplanen. Die Außenanlagen waren alle in gutem und neuwertigen Zustand. Defekte Sonnenschirme und eine nicht schließende Geschirrspüle wurden umgehend innerhalb eines Tages ersetzt bzw. repariert.
    Sauberkeit: Bei Ankunft, hätten wir vom Fußboden essen können - Nichts zu bemängeln. Der Pool hingegen wird ca. alle 3 Tage gereinigt, ist jedoch bereits nach einer Nacht voller Insekten und der Boden, insbesondere im Einstiegsbereich extrem rutschig. Hier fehlt leider eine Abdeckung des Pools, die aber in der Gegend unüblich wäre. Also vor jedem Baden erst mal Insekten-Fischen.
    Preiswürdigkeit: Preis-Leistungsverhältnis geht absolut in Ordnung.
